WHY EASTER IS A FAVOURITE TIME OF YEAR

We love Easter, for us, it marks the end of winter and the beginning of Spring and all that it brings. Spring brings a sense of new beginnings and looking forward to the summer ahead. But, if we're honest, it's a lot about the weather too, which is a favourite topic of conversation in the UK!

The clocks go forward, which means even more daylight! Daffodils are growing, lambs start appearing in the fields in the countryside, we can eat Easter eggs (and the Lindt bunnies, so cute). There are plenty of things to do this coming Easter, Easter in the UK is 12 April 2020.

Easter Egg hunts for 2020

  • The National Trust and Cadbury's have teamed up and you can find an Easter Egg hunt at most of their properties. Prices are from £3.
  • Highclere Castle (where Downton Abbey is filmed) are hosting events including an egg hunt
  • English Heritage have teamed up with Hotel Chocolat for Easter egg hunts
  • Holkham Hall (Norfolk) are having events including a performance of The Velveteen Rabbit

Decorate some eggs. We've all done egg blowing when we were little, but have you tried to dye the eggs with natural ingredients? We love the colours produced by red cabbage! Ideas here, here, here and here for decorating and dying.

Watch the new Peter Rabbit 2 film at cinemas, which comes out on 24 March in the UK. Watch the trailer here

Host a gathering, meal or party. Are you hosting a gathering, baby shower, Easter meal? As you can tell, we're huge Peter Rabbit fans, which is why we love our eco friendly Peter Rabbit crackers, handmade in England. Team up with the Peter Rabbit party supplies and you're all sorted!
