So, who are Nancy & Betty in real life?

Nancy & Betty Studio was founded by me (Hannah Bidmead) nearly 10 years ago - borrowing the name of my grandma, Nancy and her twin sister, Betty. They were born in London, during the 1930s to a baker's assistant and a London taxi driver. Here is Nancy (on the right) and Betty (on the left) age 5. The photograph was used in Pear's Soap advertising campaign because they had 'beautiful skin'. They were both wonderful, kind, caring women who loved their families. I have fond memories of them from my childhood. I hope you like this story as much as I enjoy telling it. I often get asked about the name and everyone is delighted by the story!
